Feeling frustrated? Come craft for a cause with us on Thursday nights from 6-8. Bring your own stuff, or we'll have some to provide to you. We typically have cross-stitch, poster making and knitting patterns for anyone who wants to contribute, but may not know how to start crafting.
Finished product is sold at the shop and all proceeds go to the monthly charity.
February's charity is the American Civil Liberties Union.
RSVP on the weekly invite on our Facebook page.
2016 was the worst. We lost Prince, David Bowie, Leonard Cohen, Muhammad Ali, the election, all of it, ugh.
Let's get together and celebrate the fresh year of 2017. We'll have some sales and specials on signing up for New Year's pull-lists, food and drinks, and maybe some games and event organization. Come hang with us and make some resolutions to take charge of 2017 with your local comic shop!
Outsider is holding this event to bring together crafters and others who are concerned about the upcoming administration's impact on women, minorities, and the LGBTQ community. We will create items in various mediums (not just cross stitch!) to be sold at the sold shop to benefit such charities as the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, and The Southern Poverty Law Center.
Come donate your time - we will have cross-stitch patterns and basic supplies so you can create a piece of art we can sell in the shop and donate towards the cause. You don't have to know how to cross-stitch to participate!
Come donate your skills - bring a pattern, teach a friend how to needlepoint, or help get the word out that 100% of the revenue will go to non-profits that need it.
Come donate! We'll be ready to collect the proceeds that will affect members of our community in the next four years.
